Accelerating Business Impact through a Collaborative Agency Transformative Model

Allstate Business Insurance (ABI) is a relatively smaller and newer product line for Allstate. ABI offers insurance products for small businesses such as small retail stores, service industries, and restaurants. Due to performance issues, Allstate had revamped the ABI product line with new and better products and an improved technology platform called Connexus.



Allstate and NIIT collaborated to develop a training program using an agency transformative model to rollout the revamped product line and technology to Allstate agents across the country. The training program covers areas like product knowledge, process training, Connexus platform workflows and customer interaction skills. The customized program leverages business intelligence derived from surveys and interviews. Based on a learning by doing approach, the program utilizes two modalities for delivery; in-agency training programs for some groups and virtual training for others.
